Around 10 years ago we started producing our own fuel from waste cooking oil, this was a great project and prevented a waste product going to landfill, it made operating the vehicles slightly more difficult but it was a very worthwhile project.

A few years ago the duty paid on biodiesel was increased to the same as mineral diesel and this resulted in it being uneconomical to produce our own fuel, we were very disappointed that we had to move back to mineral diesel but hope shortly to be moving to electric vehicles which has even greater benefits.
